Upper Madison branding contest – Vote before 2011

December 27, 2010

by Cailin Brown

Pine Hills inhabitants have a chance to help brand their neighborhood. An inconspicuous ballot box on the floor outside the entrance to the Pine Hills post office asks residents to help give the neighborhood a sense of identity. Another box is stationed inside the Pine Hills library branch on the first floor.

A committee called the Beautify Upper Madison Project worked with graphic design students at The College of Saint Rose and five proposed logos are on display. Folks are encouraged to cast their ballot in the little box after checking out the five proposed logos. The Post Office is located on the corner of South Allen and Yates streets.

Readers are welcome to state their views here too.
